WONDER
GRAB
BEEF

In a world of flavors, vivid and bright,
Of all the wonderful food around,
Nothing appealed to me tonight,
But the beef that is calling me, sound profound.

With a sly stretch, I reached out with glee,
But all of a sudden, a hand upon mine,
In this moment, raw as can be,
We shared a taste, love intertwining fine.

ALONE
HALF-HEARTED
DAYDREAM

As I sit here alone,
I daydream about the future,
I wonder what it might hold,
What needs to be done and not be done half-hearted.

Will there be laughter echoing in the air,
Or challenges that test my will and care?
Paths untraveled, waiting to be explored,
With every step drawing closer to the dreams I’ve stored.

OVEREAT
INDULGE
BLOATED

It’s that time of year again

when we indulge in foods

we only have once a year,

often overeating and feeling bloated

But through it all,

Having family nearby makes up for it.

BRIM

In a package wrapped with care,
A thrill awaits, beyond compare.
With dreams that brim like stars at night,
Each moment sparkles, pure delight.

Open it gently, let joy unfold,
Adventures ripe, stories to be told.
In every layer, a whisper, a gleam,
Life’s sweetest treasures, a childhood dream.

PREPARATION
TINSEL
TREE

The tree is ready, shining bright,
With lights that twinkle in the night.
Just one last thing to make it glow,
A touch of tinsel for the show.

Oh, how lovely it will be,
A joyful sight for you and me!
With love and cheer, we’ll gather around,
In this wonderland, joy is found.

Nature’s Applause: Three Things Challenge #M912

POSE

CLAP

In stillness we pose,
Beneath the watchful moon’s glow,
Time seems to have froze.
A heartbeat, then a loud clap—
Nature’s applause for the night.

COMPETE
CHALLENGE
POST

In silence where dreams are made,
It is on, a challenge laid.
With pen in hand, let’s start the run,
Now who will finish this poem first, fun?

Words move like shadows, quick and bright,
A mix of ideas that spark delight.
Each line a step in this journey we take,
As we chase the muse, both real and fake.

Let our thoughts soar, let our rhymes connect,
Dive into the well of what we reflect.
Time is ticking, the moment is here,
To share our feelings, loud and clear.

With courage and heart, let your art shine,
Together we write, our thoughts align.
So, share what you’ve crafted when your poem is done,
In this race of ideas, we all are one.

BRUTE
CUTE
FLUTE

Brutus the Brute Bear
Could play the flute,
With a melody so sweet,
Oh, how utterly cute!

He’d serenade the forest,
With notes that danced in the air,
Animals gathered around,
To listen without a care.

Squirrels would sway,
While the rabbits hopped in tune,
As Brutus played his heart out,
Beneath the glowing moon.

In every playful moment,
With joy that can’t be beat,
Brutus the Brute Bear,
Made the day feel complete.

An issue blooms like a rose,
Some insist on flaws,
Claiming love is inferior,
Yet hearts elevate us all.
