Shattered Trust

I once trusted my brother so solemn and true,
But he took from me, and my trust he did eschew.
His sultry lies and sly deceit,
Left my heart heavy, my anger replete.

In shadows cast by his treacherous game,
I feel the sting of betrayal’s sharp flame.
Yet from the ashes of trust that he stole,
I gather my strength and reclaim my soul.

What have you been working on?

I have been encouraged by others to sell some of my artwork as postcards, stickers, prints, and more. Initially, I wasn’t sure if I should pursue this idea, but after discussing it with many friends who were really enthusiastic, I decided to go for it. Since I started this project, I’ve felt more excited than I have in a long time. I’m beginning to believe that this is something I am meant to do. I plan to take my time and enjoy the journey.

It can bring happiness.

Or it can bring heartache

never knowing what it will bring

Take a leap and find out

No matter what, you are stronger than you think.

So keep going, even if it’s hard.

One day you’ll look back and smile,

Knowing you tried, and loved, and lived.
