TELLER
CASH
CURRENCY

Sally Ann Cash was a teller at the local shop
Handling money with a smile, she would never flop
Her last name suggested a natural affinity
But her skills with numbers were her true serendipity
Customers trusted her with their cash without a second thought
For Sally Ann’s integrity was something no one ever bought

PLEA
SWITCH
CHANGE

Oh, coach, I plead and beg with all my might,
To change my colors, switch and take my flight.
The other team’s allure has captured me,
Their victory and glory I long to see.

The grass may seem greener on their side,
With every game, my passion cannot hide.
So hear my plea, and grant this fervent wish,
To wear their jersey, to taste victory’s dish.

SOLITARY
YEARN
KEPT

Solitary moments stretch into eternity,
As I yearn for a connection, a sense of fraternity,
Kept away from the laughter and the cheer,
I seek solace in the silence, holding my dear.

SAUCE
CAUSE
SCARE

Sally put sauce on her apple tart,
‘Cause without it, it’d surely fall apart.
It gave the tart a little extra flair,
And she ate it all without a single scare!

WELCOME
SHANTY
GIRL

Welcome to the shanty, said the girl,
Where the walls are thin and the roof’s a-twirl.
The mice may scurry, the roof may leak,
But our spirits are high, never meek.
So come on in and have a seat,
In this shanty where life’s a treat!

BEAT

Drums

With a beat so strong,
Drum thumps, bashes all day long,
Music fills the air.

RICH
PITCH
WITCH

In a mansion so grand and so rich,
Lived a man whose life was a switch.
He tried to impress with a suave pitch,
But his charm ended up in a ditch.

His friends all thought he was a witch,
With tricks that made them twitch and flinch.
But though his luck was quite hitched,
At least he never ran out of a niche!

AWARD

I won an award, oh what a sight,
For always moving forward, never in fright.
But behind every success, I must confess,
Lies a pile of laundry I never address!

PRUNE

Tickle me Pickle, that silly fellow,
Turns into a prune whenever it’s mellow.
It wriggles and giggles, oh what a hoot,
Until it becomes a prune, then it can’t scoot!

Frosty the snowman was quite precise,
In his fashion choices, he took no advice.

SETTLE
METAL
BRONZE

Oh, once there was a knight named Settle,
Whose armor was quite shiny and metal.
In the jousting ring, he aimed for gold,
But alas, his skills were not that bold.

He clashed and clanged with all his might,
But always ended up with bronze in sight.
He’d hang his head, feeling quite glum,
While the crowd would cheer for the number one.

So Settle the knight, so full of grace,
Would polish his bronze with a sad embrace,
And though he aimed for the highest throne,
Bronze was the metal he made his own.

UPPER
CUP
CURSE

Silly Kitty

I once found an enchanted upper,
That turned my cat into a playful cur.
But when I drank from the mystical cup,
I accidentally cast a feline curse.

Now my kitty’s stuck in a silly spin,
Chasing tails with a mischievous grin.
I wish I could reverse this furry curse,
And return my pet to its normal purr.

PATHETIC
FEEBLE
WEAK

Pathetic, feeble, weak I may seem,
But in my mind, I reign as supreme.
With muscles like noodles, and no strength to speak,
I’m a champion in the game of being unique.

I may lift a feather and call it a feat,
While others carry boulders down the street.
My feeble attempts at looking tough,
End up being laughably not so rough.

Pathetic, feeble, weak, they say with a grin,
But I embrace it all and take it on the chin.
For in my world, strength is overrated,
I’ll stick to being me, never outdated.
