The Adventures of Carol the Curious Cat

Carol was a curious cat

Who was looking for an adventure

Through the backyard will be an adventure

 Carol was a curious cat

Who was looking for an adventure

First, through the sliding glass door

Even though this part is a bore

Who was looking for an adventure

First, through the sliding glass door

Then up the tall oak tree

Where she dreamed to be free

First, through the sliding glass door

Then up the tall oak tree

With a view of the world so wide

Where she felt her joy and pride

Then up the tall oak tree

Where she dreamed to be free

    Chasing shadows in the sun

Where every moment was pure fun

Where she dreamed to be free

With a view of the world so wide

    She spotted a butterfly dance

Inviting her to take a chance

With a view of the world so wide

    Chasing shadows in the sun

    Carol leaped with playful grace

Each leap an adventure to embrace

    Chasing shadows in the sun

Where every moment was pure fun

She pranced and twirled with glee

In her backyard kingdom, so carefree

Where every moment was pure fun

    Carol was a curious cat

Who was looking for an adventure

Through the backyard will be an adventure

    Carol was a curious cat
