Lost or Misplaced

Sally was saddened, lost and forlorn,
Fearing her treasure was forever gone.
As tears threatened to fall, her heart in despair,
She searched high and low, her anguish to bear.

Placing her hands on the bed, a glimmer of hope,
To her surprise, her treasure was within scope.
Not lost, but misplaced, a joyous revelation,
Tears of happiness rolled, an end to her frustration.

The Magic of Reading

Lost in a good book, with pages flying by,
Transported to new worlds, where time can’t pry,
Characters and plots, they capture my mind,
Before I realize, it’s way past bedtime!

With every turn, new adventures await,
Whispers of wisdom from the ink on the plate.
Imagination sparked, like stars in the night,
In stories I find, my spirit takes flight.

Navigating the Unknown

Oh dear!
I am lost, I cannot tell north from south,
Or east or west, my mind’s a tangled mouth.
With the utmost determination, I tread,
Through shadows of doubt, where my heart has led.
