Fleeting Time

Special thanks to my collaborator on this Rengay, Anthony mylovexpressionsblog.wordpress.com

Clock in your pocket
Time is all over your arms
See if it stands still.
Moments slip like grains of sand,
Echoes of the day dissolve.

Dreams of Twilight Garden

Your three words today are:
HOPEFUL
WISHFUL
DREAMLIKE

In a garden where the shadows play,
Thoughts bloom bright in a hopeful sway.
Whispers of wishes dance in the air,
Each petal a dream, delicate and rare.

Under a sky so vast and deep,
In the realm of the wishful, our secrets we keep.
We wander through twilight, where stars softly gleam,
Lost in the magic of a dreamlike theme.

Poetry

Beneath the Vast Sky

In laughter shared beneath the bright, vast sky,
Two hearts entwined, where secrets softly flow,
A comfort found in every whispered sigh,
In silence loud, where only we can know.

Through trials faced and storms we bravely weather,
Each memory a stitch that binds us tight,
With hands held firm, we face the world together,
In darkest days, you are my guiding light.

Like sturdy roots that grow beneath the ground,
Our friendship blooms with every passing year,
A treasure trove of love and trust we’ve found,
In joyous times and when we shed a tear.

So here’s to us, in every laugh and fight,
In every shared dream that ignites the night.

Bright, radiant

Shining, glowing, flickering

Radiance, Beam, shadow, abyss

Comfort in a Bowl

Red tomato sauce
With salty cheesy pasta
Is my favorite.
Steam rises with each warm bite,
Comfort on my plate tonight.

Childhood Whispers

In a world of whispers, where shadows play,
I found my refuge at the end of the day.
Beneath the old oak with branches wide,
My secret haven where dreams could hide.

A patch of soft moss, my throne of green,
Surrounded by wonders, a magical scene.
With laughter like echoes of time held still,
I wove my adventures with a heart full of thrill.

There, in the stillness, where sunlight would dance,
I’d lose myself deep in each fanciful glance.
A kingdom of make-believe, safe from the race,
Forever cherished, my childhood’s embrace.

The Hero’s Mirror

Your three words today are:
HERO
HAND
MIRROR

In a town where the bright sun glows,
Lived a hero with a hand full of woes.
He picked up a mirror, all shiny and round,
Admiring his face, not a flaw to be found.

“Oh, what a grin, I’m the best!” he declared,
But a bird flew by and loudly impaired.
With a flap and a squawk, it knocked off the mask,
Our hero just smiled – what a funny task!

He waved like a king, “Let’s dance!” he exclaimed,
The mirror just laughed, “You’re funny and famed!”
They twirled in the sun, amidst laughter and beams,
A hero, a hand, and a mirror of dreams.

In Harmony’s Embrace

NEUTRAL
NAVIGATE
NUANCE

In a world so bright and fair,
We find a path, our dreams to share.
With hearts that aim to keep it neutral,
We navigate life, so rich and factual.

Each moment holds a gentle nuance,
In every glance, a silent dance.
We walk together, hand in hand,
Finding peace in this vast land.

Whispers of Hope

Angels flying near
Providing reassurance
To stresses today.
Whispers of hope in the breeze,
Guiding hearts to brighter days.

Melody of the Garden

In the garden where dreams twine,
A breeze whispers, soft and fine.
Leaves sway with a rhythm, so lyrical,
Nature dances, it’s all so musical.

Sunlight sparkles, a golden glow,
Birds chirp sweetly, a vibrant show.
Every moment, a note in the air,
Life’s melody sings, everywhere.

The Dancing Fellow

Your three words today are:
SPINE
WHACK
TACK

There once was a fellow with spine,
Who danced with a rhythm divine.
With a whack and a tack,
He put on quite the act,
As he twirled beneath bright, shining pine.

Poetry, Word of the Day

Have Faith

In the dark when hope feels small,
Whisper softly, hear the call.
When the road seems rough and long,
Hold on tight, be brave, be strong.

Through the storms and skies so gray,
Keep your heart and fears at bay.
For in the end, when shadows part,
You will find joy in your heart.

So when the days are filled with strife,
Just remember, have faith in life.

In the Shadows of Chaos

Special thanks to my collaborator on this Rengay, Anthony mylovexpressionsblog.wordpress.com

I’ll recuse myself,
I’m too close to disaster
To weigh in on it.
In shadows, silence lingers,
Hope flickers through the chaos.

Disappearing Dreams

Close I came, to dreams so near,
A fragile thread I held so dear.
One small slip, the thread unwound,
And all I sought could not be found.

Close it stayed, but not my own,
A fleeting shadow, now unknown.

Easter Delights

Easter’s almost here
Hard boiled eggs and some candy
Make the day complete.
Joyful laughter fills the air,
Spring blossoms, bright and happy.
