Adult tantrums,
Tempered and wild,
Grown-ups acting like a child.
Frustrations unchecked,
Emotions untamed,
Rationality, completely drained.
—
Words thrown like daggers,
Actions fueled by rage,
A storm brewing on life’s stage.
But when the storm passes,
And the dust settles down,
Regret and shame, wearing a frown.
—
For in this moment,
We forget our age,
And unleash our inner rage.
—
So let’s take a breath,
And count to ten,
Before we lose ourselves again.
Adult tantrums,
Tempered they may be,
But the damage they cause, we’ll forever see.
