Three Things Challenge #M867

CRUMBLE
TUMBLE
RUMBLE

The Sweetest Crumb

In the quiet of the day, there’s a rumble in my tummy,
For I am hungry, but alas, there is not a crumb to be found,
No cookies or treats, just an empty, gnawing grumble,
Suddenly, out of the corner of my eye, I see something round.

A tiny crumble of cookie, oh, what a sight!
It glistens like treasure, just waiting for me,
But wait! I’m not alone in this sweet little plight,
For my sister spies it too, and now there’s a spree.

We tumble and roll in a rush to the prize,
A playful scuffle ensues, laughter and squeals,
With every twist and turn, we both reach for the size,
That tiny crumb of delight that our hunger reveals.

In this chaotic dance, we giggle and tease,
The cookie piece gleams as it teeters away,
But amidst all the tussle, we find a sweet ease,
For sharing the moments that brighten the day.

At last, we settle down, the treat in our hand,
Together we break it, a crumb for each bite,
No need for the rumble, we understand,
In moments like these, everything feels just right.
