What if,
the sun refused to rise,
And the moon decided not to set?
What if,
the stars fell from the skies,
And the oceans all dried up and left?
What if,
birds forgot to sing,
And flowers never bloomed again?
What if,
winter forgot to bring
Snowflakes gently falling, now and then?
What if,
love ceased to exist,
And kindness disappeared from sight?
What if,
hope could not persist,
And darkness banished all the light?
But even in these what if’s, true,
There’s strength in us and ways to cope.
For in our hearts, the answers brew,
And we’ll find our way through, with hope.

I’m such a “what if” kinda gal and it sucks.. Love the poem.

I understand. I am getting better with the what if but they still pop up now and then.

I go through spurts. Sometimes I can control the what if’s and other times, watch out world, the what if’s are taking over. I’m very much a work in progress
