Making the Leap

When an old car dies and no longer can be repaired
It’s time for a new one, a decision to be dared
Going to the car dealership, a stampede of horses
Senses on overload, navigating myriad courses

It’s so draining, makes you want to sleep and forget
But the need to get places, it’s a looming threat
Forgetting about it and going without a car
Seems tempting, but reality isn’t that far

Reminded of the places you need to reach
The search for a new car, a lesson in teach
Amidst the chaos, a vehicle to find
To navigate the roads, a peace of mind
