Grim and grumpy, he plotted away,  
Resolute to ruin the Whos’ joyous day.  
In his heart, a cold and lonely space,  
Never understanding their warm embrace.  
Change came slowly, as love found its way,  
He discovered the meaning of Christmas that day.
