Celebrating a Life Well Lived

While everyone was grieving,
I celebrated the life of the one who left us.
Yes, I cried, but I also remembered
The good times we had,
Laughter like sunlight,
Moments filled with joy.

Each story we shared,
A thread in our tapestry,
Lessons of kindness and grace,
Whispers of love that linger.

So let the world grieve as it might,
I’ll find joy in our shared light,
For in the midst of loss,
I carry their spirit,
A celebration of love, forever bright.

  1. I love this. Sometimes we grieve with remembering the positive and good we shared with our loved one. We don’t always have to sob. Each of us grieve in our own way and it should always be without judgement
