Three Things Challenge #M967
JAUNT
JOKE
KETTLE

On a sunny day, I set out for a jaunt,
With a kettle in hand, not a single bad haunt.
I wandered through fields of daisies and thyme,
Thinking of jokes that would tickle, sublime.
I met a bold rabbit who wore a fine hat,
He said with a grin, “You’re a curious brat!
What’s round, burbles, and boils every day?”
I laughed out loud, “It’s your kettle, I say!”
We shared silly jokes, like the one with the fox,
Who tried to bake bread but got stuck in a box.
With each hearty laugh, our worries took flight,
On that joyful jaunt, everything felt right.
So here’s to the kettle, the jaunt, and a joke,
Where laughter’s the magic that brings all folks stoke.
A day filled with smiles, in the sun’s warm embrace,
Let’s dance and let laughter sprout all over the place!
MAD Missy 😠
Absolutely brilliant and a fun frolic in your top five poems I think.
