The Charmer’s Downfall

In a mansion so grand and so rich,
Lived a man whose life was a switch.
He tried to impress with a suave pitch,
But his charm ended up in a ditch.
His friends all thought he was a witch,
With tricks that made them twitch and flinch.
But though his luck was quite hitched,
At least he never ran out of a niche!

Yet one fateful evening, a grand masquerade,
He donned a disguise, feeling perfectly made.
But the mask he wore brought him unforeseen shame,
As he tripped on his ego, lost all sense of fame.
Now whispers surround him, as shadows invade,
A charmer before, now a legend betrayed.
