The moonlight dances softly on the ground,
A gentle glow that pulses with sound,
Distant dreams float on velvet air,
In this quiet space, I find solace rare.
Stars twinkle like secrets, each one a tale,
Nature’s lullaby, soothing and pale,
So I’ll linger awhile ‘neath the watchful sky,
In the night’s beauty, my heart learns to fly.
Great poem! I usually don’t care for rhyming poems that are evocative, but this one’s brilliant.
