Colony of Fun

I’d love to partake
In a colony of fun
Where worries shrink
And laughter’s never done.

With friends gathered nearby,
Joy glimmers like the sun,
In every shared story,
Our spirits become one.

Colorful skies above,
We dance through the day,
With hearts light and free,
In this vibrant ballet.

As twilight approaches,
We gather ’round the fire,
With whispers of dreams,
And tales that inspire.

So, join me, my friend,
In this place we create,
A sanctuary of joy,
Where happiness awaits.

  1. I read your poem aloud. Poems need to be heard. It is a poem I could have written, but you beat me to it. I used to teach elementary school (years ago) and would read poems to my classes. Yours would be easily memorized!
