WDYS #351

While no one was in the park, a peace settles over me.

The birds chirping, the smell of the wet grass,

The lonely benches waiting for someone to come and sit on them.

The peace that runs through me is all‑consuming.

No judgement from others, just myself and nature.

In this stillness, I remember who I am when the world isn’t watching.

The breeze moves through the trees like a soft reminder that I belong here too.

For a moment, nothing is required of me.

I breathe, I listen, and I let the quiet gather all the scattered pieces of me back into place.
