Bear With Me

https://thedailyspur.wordpress.com/2026/07/26/bear-2/

Bear with me as I try to speak
Words don’t come easy.
I know exactly what I mean,
but the thoughts get stuck
somewhere between my brain and my mouth.

The frustration tightens everything,
and trying harder only makes it worse.
I never quite know how to fix it.

A select few notice when I’m struggling—
they wait with patience,
reminding me I’m okay,
that I’m not alone in this pause.

I wish words arrived when I called them.
But that isn’t in the cards for me.

So I’ve learned:
if I can’t say it,
I’ll write it.

It doesn’t help every time,
but it helps enough.
And for now,
that is okay.
