Controlled strength within your reach.
Harnessing the force,
Can you handle the power?
Of a force that can’t be tamed.

Mozart had a pet scarling. The birds are very capable mimics, and Mozart purchased his after hearing it sing some of his own work. Piano Concerto #17 in G Major in a Vienna pet shop in 1784.

Your challenge for this week

Are you an organ donor, if so why/why not?
Yes, I am.
For me, it comes down to a simple belief: if something I no longer need can give someone else more time, more birthdays, more ordinary mornings with the people they love, then that feels like the right choice. I’ve seen enough of life to know how fragile it is, and how much difference one act of generosity can make.
I don’t think of it as a grand gesture. It’s more like leaving the light on for someone who’s still on their way home. If my life can help someone else continue theirs, even after I’m gone, that feels like a meaningful way to leave the world a little better than I found it.

“The future belongs to the competent. Get good, get better, be the best!” – Brian Tracy

The one-handed syringe was invented by a nurse named Letitia Mumford Geer in the 19th century. Her design allowed people to use a syringe in hard-to-reach places without assistance.

Seeking peace within
A gentle touch, soothing balm
Comfort found from love
Open your heart and embrace
The beauty of each new day

Wind
blows
through me
bending the reeds
a whisper then a roar
it carries the lost voices of the world

Emotions run wild inside of me.
My mind spins with all unknowns.
Silent shadows remain.

Once a wonderful tree, now half of what it used to be
standing there wishing it was what it once was
Once a proud tree that everyone enjoyed, now everyone flees
But the tree pays no mind, for it knows that it will improve with a little love and care.
Its branches once reached toward the sky so free,
drinking in the golden afternoon light,
now stripped and bare for all the world to see,
Yet still it stands with quiet dignity and grace,
rooted deep, becoming what it’s meant to be.

Autumn comes with leaves of multiple colors
Brighten up the day with pure joy
Cold weather
Disappearing into something somewhat warmer
Every river flows gently to the sea
Forests stand tall, ancient and free
Glaciers carve valleys through mountains of stone
Honeybees hum in a language their own
Ice crystals glitter at the break of dawn
Jungles breathe deep where wild things are born
Kingfishers dive through the reeds by the lake
Lakes mirror the sky with a silver-blue lake
Mountains rise proudly above morning mist
Nightingales sing where the tall oak is kissed
Oceans roll endlessly under the moon
Petals unfurl to a wildflower tune
Quiet the forest at the end of the day
Raindrops tap softly on leaves as they sway
Sunsets paint fire across the wide sky
Tides pull the shore with a whispering sigh
Under the stars, the earth holds its breath
Valleys lie still in the shadow of depth
Winds carry seeds to the farthest of places
Xerophytes bloom in the driest of spaces
Yearning for spring, the bare branches wait
Zephyrs breathe softly through meadow and gate

Drawn in by the pull,
towards a force felt within,
Gravitate and meet
Getting to know each other
Fully, deeply to our cores.

Fluffy fluff, so full of fluff,
Tried to bluff, but not enough,
Got caught in the snuff, oh what a huff,
Now Fluffy’s in a huff, poor little fluff!
