Blurry and Dark

Suddenly, everything became blurry and dark,
A world once clear, now lost its spark.
Visions faded, like a misty dream,
Reality shattered at the seams.

Heavenly Cow

Oh, heavenly cow

Where have you been all my life

With glorious milk.

With each mouthwatering drink

 A lost memory appears

Poetry

Is it Me?

Is it me,
Was it something I did?
Do I need to change?
I will gladly do that to have someone who cares.

I search for the light,
In shadows of doubt,
Wondering if love,
Is still worth the route.

If I bend and I break,
Will the pieces align?
Will you see the real me,
Or leave me behind?

With open hands,
I offer my heart,
In hopes that the journey,
Is just the right start.

So tell me your thoughts,
Let’s clear the air,
For love is a treasure,
When two souls truly share.

Poetry

Lost or Misplaced

Sally was saddened, lost and forlorn,
Fearing her treasure was forever gone.
As tears threatened to fall, her heart in despair,
She searched high and low, her anguish to bear.

Placing her hands on the bed, a glimmer of hope,
To her surprise, her treasure was within scope.
Not lost, but misplaced, a joyous revelation,
Tears of happiness rolled, an end to her frustration.

The Rhyme of the Unhinged

I couldn’t think of a rhyme for “singe,”
My thoughts are scattered, feeling quite unhinged.
I aimed to be clever, to craft something slick,
But my poetic skills feel burnt, thick, and quick.

In my mind I searched, through shadows and light,
Hoping to find a word that felt right.
Yet all that I found were echoes of lack,
No dashin’ good phrases, just a dim track.

So, I’ll wrap up my poem with a humorous quip,
Hoping you liked it, despite any blip.
For poetry’s journey is often a race,
And sometimes we stumble but still find our place.

Words We Need

—————–

When words don’t come out

Never try and force them all

Or you’ll lose your mind

Silence can sometimes bring peace

To bring back the words that we need…

Visions of Hope

Eyes see beyond sight,
Imagining what can be,
Unveiling the future,
Like waves upon the sea.

Dreams float in my mind,
Hope whispers soft and near,
With each little step,
I can face all my fears.

Poetry

Whispers of Spring

In the springtime breeze,
Fragrance of cherry blooms,
Delicate whispers,
Nature’s gentle embrace found,
Moments linger, softly held.

Poetry

Fragrance of Dreams

Their fragrance so sweet, a soft tease,
Brings forth smiles and whispers with ease.
In gardens adorned,
Where dreams are reborn,
Nature’s beauty is sure to appease.

Magic and Mockery

The magician scoffed

And she disappeared in smoke

Never seen again.

Magic words never said again

To live in peace and not mocked.

Joining in laughter

Is the most fun we can have

We’re all sharing joy

experiencing pleasure

to help deal with what may come

Boring Town Ballad

In a town where the folks found it boring,
They danced to the sound of their snoring.
With a yawn and a sigh,
They waved dreams goodbye,
And entertained thoughts that were soaring!
