I strut like I own the sun—
hips swinging, doubts shrinking,

The world watches,
but I walk for me—
a runway stitched from courage,
lined with audacity.
Gentle whispers drifting through the air,
Observations twisted with a playful flair.
Secrets stretched until they nearly snap,
Shadowed truths wrapped in a casual chat.
Innocent or not, it travels far and fast,
Proving how small words can linger, long after they’ve passed.
The forest waits for morning’s gentle light,
Its hush absorbing shadows of the night.
Leaves drink in dawn’s first glow,
Streams gather what winds sow,
Soft breaths absorb—
Life’s quiet orb.
A windstorm of emotions rushes through me,
each one twisting into the next before I can name it.
I can’t tell where one feeling begins
or when another finally lets go—
only that they collide inside me,
leaving me standing in the quiet after the storm.
The quiet woods at dusk begin to beckon,
a whisper soft enough to make me reckon
with all the paths I never dared to take,
the dreams I shelved, the chances I let break—
yet still the fading light says, come, and I awaken.
A shadow falls across the room,
As twilight fades to gray,
A quiet touch of midnight blues
That steals the light away.
But music drifts upon the breeze,
A soft and healing sound,
And in the rhythm of the blues,
A deeper peace is found.
Openly sharing what rolls through the mind,
Persistent in views that are sharply defined.
Insisting on paths that they believe to be right,
Never back down from a spirited fight.
Indifferent to critics who try to oppose,
Onward they push where their certainty goes.
Not easily swayed by the crowd or the trend,
Always prepared to defend their own stance.
Talking with passion, conviction, and pride,
Eager to speak what is brewing inside,
Decided and firm, they won’t step aside.

Some subjects arrive like a weight on the table,
quiet but impossible to ignore.
A topic can sit between two people
like a closed door,
waiting for the courage
or the honesty
to turn the handle.
We circle it at first,
pretending the air hasn’t changed,
pretending we don’t feel the pull
of what must be said.
But truth has a way of leaning forward,
of clearing its throat
until silence becomes its own confession.

Lazy Bones wont lift a hand
He sleeps the daylight into sand
Task pile high, the hours have flown –
No wonder he sits alone.
There are days the world feels distant,
like you’re walking underwater.
Thoughts echo in strange directions,
and everything takes effort.
But even then, your health holds on
in the smallest acts of staying.
