December Poem: Collab with Carol Anne

Darkness falls early in the night

Every whisper of the wind seems to echo through the shadows.

Crisp air whispers winters near

Eerie silence blankets the world, as nature prepares for sleep.

Moments of reflection, of love shared and given,

Brings warmth to the heart, even as the chill settles in.

Embrace the warmth, love lights the way

Radiant memories flicker like stars in the night.

Celebrating a Life Well Lived

While everyone was grieving,
I celebrated the life of the one who left us.
Yes, I cried, but I also remembered
The good times we had,
Laughter like sunlight,
Moments filled with joy.

Each story we shared,
A thread in our tapestry,
Lessons of kindness and grace,
Whispers of love that linger.

So let the world grieve as it might,
I’ll find joy in our shared light,
For in the midst of loss,
I carry their spirit,
A celebration of love, forever bright.

Chasing Stars in Summer’s Light

In summer’s light, we chased the stars,
With laughter echoing, no distant bars.
Secret paths where dreams would soar,
Each moment a treasure, opening doors.

In innocence, we felt so free,
Joy shining bright for all to see.
Though time may steal and we may roam,
Those memories linger, a lasting home.

COCKY
ALLURE
CONFIDENT

Confident you can get any lady,
But your cocky attitude
Does not allure them to you.
Instead of swagger, try a smile,
Let kindness linger for a while.

For true connection, you must see,
It’s more than boasts or bravado, truly.
With humble heart and open mind,
You’ll find the love you seek, refined.

POLLUTE
POISON
PERHAPS

Your mind is like poison,
Don’t pollute the youth with your words.
Check the facts before you speak,
For truth is a treasure often unheard.

Plant seeds of wisdom, let kindness take root,
Your voice can uplift, inspire, or break.
Engage in dialogue, let understanding call,
For the stories we tell shape us, after all.
