A place to show my work
On the 4th of July, all dressed in red, white, and blue,
We celebrate America, and all the fun things we can do.
We watch fireworks light up the sky,
And have a barbecue with burgers and apple pie.
We wave flags and march in a parade,
And spend time with family, not in the shade.
So, let’s cheer for the USA, our land so grand,
Happy 4th of July let’s give a hand!
Many colours wait
Ready for use, on a plate
There is no debate
Wanting to be a showpiece
So, take your time and inspire…

They play and bark, wagging their trails

Sadness

Tears of pain
Not knowing what to do
To end the tears
Why can’t I be happy
Why was it taken away
What do I need to do
To feel the joy again.
Eyes are watching
Every move that you make
Or are they
Or is it
Your imagination playing tricks again
To scare you
Making you believe
That you are being judged constantly
