Weekend Wanderlust

Feeling fancy and free
Ready to start the weekend
In a whole new way
Determined to push through
Adventures about to be had
Yearning to be free

Collab with Carol Anne

Another collab with Carol Anne. This time, we each wrote a limerick, and the theme was silly. The top half is Carol Anne, and the bottom half is mine. Enjoy!

In a dress that was frilly and silly,
A girl danced through the streets, her face silly.
With a twirl and a spin,
She brought giggles within,
As she laughed with the town, oh so chilly!

A fellow who thought he was chilly,
Wore socks that were bright and quite silly.
In a dance, he tripped flat,
And fell with a splat,
But just laughed and proclaimed, “Aren’t I really?

Clyde’s Comic Catastrophe

There once was a fellow named Clyde,
Who took all his secrets in stride.
But one fateful night,
He tangled in fright,
When his crush found his stash and, he cried!

Midnight Temptations

A flirty young lady named Claire,
Had a knack for a scandalous dare.
In the heat of the night,
With her lover in sight,
They tangled ‘neath sheets without care.

DAYTIME
HOUR
PULSE

When the sun is shining bright,
Each hour shares whispers, soft and light.
A steady pulse, our hearts in sync,
Life moves like a dance, don’t you think?

Moments twirl, the sun’s warm rays,
Time flows smoothly, in so many ways.
With every breath, our dreams connect,
In the warm daylight, we both reflect.

YELL

In Yule time, happiness is found,
Magic is all around, with a story to be bound.

While laughter and joy take off into the night.

Summer’s Sweet Serenade

A bold lad who sought quite the bliss,
He found a girl, and he stole a quick kiss.
With a spark and a tease,
In the warm summer breeze,
That sweet moment was hard to dismiss.

A gentle touch, soothing balm,

MARGIN
MALE
MANIAC

Hale was a man, steadfast and true,
Always in search of a bargain or two.
He would never fold, not by the slightest thread,
In the quest for the best deals, he boldly spread.

People whispered, calling him manic and shrewd,
Yet he knew in his heart what was best, never rude.
So here’s to Hale, with his unyielding zest,
Chasing great savings, he truly was blessed.

Winter’s Embrace: Collab with Carol Anne

Silent snowflakes fall,
Blanketing the world in white,
Whispers of the chill,
Fires crackle, warm and bright,
Nature sleeps, a peaceful night.

Beneath the soft glow,
Icicles hang like crystals,
Moonlight dances down,
Footprints trace a quiet path,
Winter’s breath, a hush around.

Drawn in by the pull,
Towards a force felt within,
Gravitate and meet.

Unexpected jolt,
Abrupt change in direction,
Caught off guard, quick turn.
Everything falls around you
Find a safe place to shelter…
