The Gardener’s Pride

In a garden where flowers grew wide,
A gardener felt full of pride.
With each bloom he spied,
He’d sigh, satisfied,
As nature’s beauty bloomed bright by his side.

Disappearing Dreams

Close I came, to dreams so near,
A fragile thread I held so dear.
One small slip, the thread unwound,
And all I sought could not be found.

Close it stayed, but not my own,
A fleeting shadow, now unknown.

Row Your Life

Thanks for Fandango. Check out the challenge here.

Row your life in a new way,
Don’t follow paths where others stay.
Try the road that’s fresh and bright,
You might find your heart’s delight.

Take a chance, embrace the view,
Seek the wondrous and the true.
With each turn, let your dreams show,
Row your life where you want to go.

FOWC – A Farewell to My Old Self

On April 3rd, Fandango challenge us to use the word Farewell in any way that inspired us. Check out the site here.

Here is my try.

Farewell, my old self, itโ€™s time to part,
Youโ€™ve been my companion, close to my heart.
Through every high and every low,
Youโ€™ve shaped my journey, helped me grow.

Though Iโ€™m moving on to find my way,
Iโ€™ll cherish the memories, come what may.
Youโ€™re a part of me, forever will be,
Farewell, dear self, Iโ€™m setting you free.

Embrace Your Dreams

In this season of dreams, let your spirit soar,
Be the person youโ€™ve dreamed of, and so much more.
Do not let others tell you who you should be,
For the strength to succeed is inside you and free.

Take a deep breath, feel the fresh morning air,
Embrace all your wishes, let go of your care.
With each new beginning, let your heart lead the way,
This season is yours, make the most of your day.

Whispers of Resignation: FOWC

Silent acceptance,
In shadows of resignation,
Dreams gently drift by.

A heavy heart sighs,
Letting go of what once was,
Hope flickers, then fades.

The Boastful Lad

There once was a lad with a chin,
Who claimed he could always win.
With a grin that was wide,
Heโ€™d boast with great pride,
But heโ€™d lose when the counting begin!

Deficit

In shadows deep, a whisper calls,
The echo of a heart that stalls,
A quiet room, where dreams submit,
To the weight of loss, a silent deficit.

Yet in the dark, a spark ignites,
A flicker of hope in endless nights,
For every gap, a chance to fit,
To weave the light where shadows flit.
