The Loop I Keep Fighting

https://thedailyspur.wordpress.com/2026/08/10/negative-3/

The negative thoughts in my head
play on a constant loop,
a quiet hum that never fully fades.

Some days, they stop with ease—
a switch flipped,
a breath taken,
a moment of peace.

Other days, they fight tooth and nail
to make me believe
their whispered stories,
even when my heart knows
none of them are true.

They try to hold power over me,
a weight I push against
again and again,
learning, slowly,
that the fight itself
is proof of my strength.

Finding Hope Within

In the land of hopelessness, I stand,
A negative cloud at my command.
But from within, I find a spark,
A light to pierce the dreary dark.

Flanked by doubt on every side,
I let my laughter be my guide.
Though things seem grim and full of woe,
I’ll turn it ’round and let hope grow.

Three Things Challenge #M817

HOPELESS
NEGATIVE
FLANK

In the land of hopelessness, I stand,
A negative cloud at my command.
But from within, I find a spark,
A light to pierce the dreary dark.

Flanked by doubt on every side,
I let my laughter be my guide.
Though things seem grim and full of woe,
I’ll turn it ’round and let hope grow.
