So I sit here and reflect

I sit here and reflect,
We used to be close,
Will we ever get that back?
Only time will tell, I suppose.

Memories linger like whispers in the air,
Laughter shared, secrets bare,
But distance grows with every day,
Will the path to you fade away?

I think of the moments, the dreams we spun,
The light-hearted jokes, the races we’d run.
Yet shadows creep in, doubt starts to swell,
In the silence between us, a story we can’t tell.

But hope lies dormant, waiting for its cue,
Like the dawn that breaks after the night’s dark hue.
Perhaps one day we’ll find our way,
And rediscover the bond that time can’t fray.

So I sit here and reflect,
With a heart full of wishes, a soul to connect,
For though life may twist like a winding road,
I’ll hold onto your memory, like a precious ode.

Deserved love

Special thanks to my collaborator on this Rengay, Anthony, mylovexpressionsblog.wordpress.com

We all must be loved

Sometime within all our lives

In the very least.

Kindness and warmth we seek here

Embracing love we find peace

Sunsets Beauty Revealed

Special thanks to my collaborator on this Rengay, Anthony, mylovexpressionsblog.wordpress.com

Day ends and night falls

Twilight gives way to darkness

Hints of day are gone.

Painting beauty in the sky

A pure vision of perfection

Poetry

Tapestry

Threads of color, woven tight,
Tell a story in the light.

Hands that labor, hearts that dream,
Stitch together every seam.

Patterns shifting, bold and new,
Old and ancient, woven through.

Every strand a tale to tell,
Of love and loss, remembered well.

Gold and scarlet, blue and green,
Blend in ways yet to be seen.

Each connection, strong and true,
Forms a world from what we do.

Step back, see the grand design,
Life and fate in threads entwine.

A tapestry of joy and pain,
Woven once, not made again.

Unstoppable Dreamer

In the darkest of nights, when the stars seem so far
I keep holding on, ’cause I know who you are
You’re a fighter, a believer, a dreamer like no other
With a fire deep inside, you were born to discover

When the road gets tough, and you’re feeling defeated
Just remember, you were made to be undefeated
There’s a power within you that can’t be denied
You’re an unstoppable force that won’t be denied

So don’t give up, don’t back down
You were born to wear the victor’s crown
Keep pushing harder, keep reaching higher
You’re a fearless warrior, an unstoppable dreamer

Rising Above

In crisis, we find our strength anew
Through danger and peril, we push through
With courage and resolve, we shall prevail
And emerge from the depths, stronger without fail.

Beautiful Colours

Bright color essence

My world is technicolor

Blues, reds, and yellows

Vivid hues paint my story

In every shade, I find glory

Colony of Fun

I’d love to partake
In a colony of fun
Where worries shrink
And laughter’s never done.

With friends gathered nearby,
Joy glimmers like the sun,
In every shared story,
Our spirits become one.

Colorful skies above,
We dance through the day,
With hearts light and free,
In this vibrant ballet.

As twilight approaches,
We gather ’round the fire,
With whispers of dreams,
And tales that inspire.

So, join me, my friend,
In this place we create,
A sanctuary of joy,
Where happiness awaits.

Poetry

Blurry and Dark

Suddenly, everything became blurry and dark,
A world once clear, now lost its spark.
Visions faded, like a misty dream,
Reality shattered at the seams.

Heavenly Cow

Oh, heavenly cow

Where have you been all my life

With glorious milk.

With each mouthwatering drink

 A lost memory appears

Poetry

Is it Me?

Is it me,
Was it something I did?
Do I need to change?
I will gladly do that to have someone who cares.

I search for the light,
In shadows of doubt,
Wondering if love,
Is still worth the route.

If I bend and I break,
Will the pieces align?
Will you see the real me,
Or leave me behind?

With open hands,
I offer my heart,
In hopes that the journey,
Is just the right start.

So tell me your thoughts,
Let’s clear the air,
For love is a treasure,
When two souls truly share.

Poetry

Lost or Misplaced

Sally was saddened, lost and forlorn,
Fearing her treasure was forever gone.
As tears threatened to fall, her heart in despair,
She searched high and low, her anguish to bear.

Placing her hands on the bed, a glimmer of hope,
To her surprise, her treasure was within scope.
Not lost, but misplaced, a joyous revelation,
Tears of happiness rolled, an end to her frustration.

The Rhyme of the Unhinged

I couldn’t think of a rhyme for “singe,”
My thoughts are scattered, feeling quite unhinged.
I aimed to be clever, to craft something slick,
But my poetic skills feel burnt, thick, and quick.

In my mind I searched, through shadows and light,
Hoping to find a word that felt right.
Yet all that I found were echoes of lack,
No dashin’ good phrases, just a dim track.

So, I’ll wrap up my poem with a humorous quip,
Hoping you liked it, despite any blip.
For poetry’s journey is often a race,
And sometimes we stumble but still find our place.

Words We Need

Special thanks to my collaborator on this Rengay, Anthony, mylovexpressionsblog.wordpress.com

—————–

When words don’t come out

Never try and force them all

Or you’ll lose your mind

Silence can sometimes bring peace

To bring back the words that we need…

Visions of Hope

Eyes see beyond sight,
Imagining what can be,
Unveiling the future,
Like waves upon the sea.

Dreams float in my mind,
Hope whispers soft and near,
With each little step,
I can face all my fears.
