Full
Moon
Shinning
Bright all night
Giving a hello
For those who need a friend right now

Hopes and dreams knotted together,
every moment a chance to find,
amidst chaos love sparks
restoring warmth even in the dark
timeless whispers, where feelings embark
Here are the prompts for this week’s Writer’s Workshop:
Fairness is a standard we should all uphold,
Yet some believe that they’re superior, bold.
To treat each with equality is what it’s about,
So pause and reflect before you act out.
Would you want this for yourself,
If not, then it’s not fair, you see,
Walk a mile in another’s shoes,
To understand, to set the world free.
Imagine a place where kindness reigns,
Where empathy replaces divisions and pains.
Together we can strive for a better space,
United in fairness, we’ll change the human race.
Your three words today are:
PINCH
BOUNCE
ROLL

A new game was invented,
where fun is the goal,
you simply must make
a ball bounce and roll.
With a flick and a toss,
if it dances just right,
pinch your nose tight,
and you claim your delight.

In the forest where tall trees sway,
Lived a bear who smiled bright by day.
But one night he lost his teeth in a tumble,
Now he’s known as the Gummy Bear, no need to grumble.
Soft and sweet, he bounced all around,
The happiest bear in the woods he found.
Though he lost his crunch, he found joy to share,
For a toothless smile can still spread love everywhere!

Each night, the memory of you haunts me
In dreams where love once danced so free
Yet dawn arrives and pulls you from my sight,
Leaving shadows of our love in fading light.
But I hold on to whispers of your name,
A flicker of hope amid the lingering flame.
With every heartbeat, I feel you near,
In the silence, your laughter echoes clear.

Miss Petunia sought one date,
To see if dear Mr. Lily was fate.
But while doing her hair,
It got stuck, quite a scare,
Now it’s a tale of love, quite ornate!
.
Your three words today are:
TEETH
TONGUE
GUM

In my mouth, a treasure lies,
Bubble gum beneath the skies.
With my tongue, I twist and play,
Blowing bubbles bright and gay.
Teeth clench tight, I make it right,
Popping bubbles brings delight.
A tasty treat, oh what a fun,
Joyful moments, just begun!.

Thoughts dancing in my head
Going around and around
Of things that I rather forget,
Yet,they refuse to stop
In the shadow they whisper softly
Echoes of what used to be
With every twist, the memories glow,
Like stars in a restless sea.
In the stillness, time stands still,
Haunted by a gentle breeze,
Each moment lingers, bends to my will,
A tapestry of dreams that tease.

Life’s a game, not so hot,
A stagnant pace, a tangled plot.
But something shifts, a light breaks through,
Until then, it’s just me and you.
.

Beneath my skin, a torrent brews,
A tempest waiting, longing to choose.
Boiling water, fierce and wild,
A quiet storm in the heart of a child.
Anger rising, no more contained,
A flame igniting, unchained, unfeigned.
Pounding heartbeat, a restless plea,
This raging fire demands to be free.
In silence it simmers, in darkness it dwells,
A thirst for release, like ringing bells.
The rage inside, a primal song,
A call to break free—I’ve waited too long..

Promises made, some unfulfilled,
Whispers of love, my heart is thrilled.
Chasing shadows, a game I play,
Hoping for warmth to light my way.
Is there a spark hiding in me,
Longing for love to be wild and free?
Through heartache and tears, I still believe,
One day, I’ll find the joy I seek to receive.

In the stillness of a tired Wednesday morn,
Words linger just out of reach, like dreams reborn.
Coffee cups empty, yet hopes start to gleam,
Thoughts swirling like leaves in a gentle stream.
Though frustration may hover like shadows at noon,
A spark can ignite in the heart’s quiet tune.
So I pause for a moment, take a deep breath,
Even tired Wednesdays can inspire new depth.
For within every struggle, beauty takes flight,
Transforming the weary into warmth and light.
HANDY
HALLOWED
HUFF

There once was a handy old gnome,
In a hallowed-out tree he would roam.
With a huff and a puff,
He’d bake cakes just enough,
Then giggle while serving them foam!
Your three words today are:
PLAY
BALL
BORED

Cindy the cat was feeling quite bored,
Not a thing in the house could be adored.
The ball of yarn sat, untouched on the floor,
No games or fun, she just wanted more.
With a flick of her tail and a sigh so deep,
She longed for adventure, for dreams in her sleep.
But there in her world, with nothing to do,
She waited for magic to come into view.
