Three Things Challenge #M930

DELVE
DESIST
DUTY

In shadows deep, we dare to delve,
A quest for truth, where secrets swell.
Yet whispers urge us to desist,
In duties firm, we find our bliss.

With every choice, a path we pave,
In balance struck, the heart will save.
For in the dance of light and night,
We seek the stars, and find our light.

Harmony of the Town

In a town where the melodies play,
Musicians would gather each day.
With a strum and a beat,
They made life so sweet,
Creating a symphony that swayed.

Winter Whimsy

How was your weekend? Cold, if you live here in the UK! Here’s an apt new limerick challenge for the start to this week:

SNOW

In winter, when snow starts to fall,
It blankets the earth, covering all.
With laughter and cheer,
We build snowmen near,
And sled down the hills with a call!

The Nature of Dirt

Special thanks to my collaborator on this Rengay, Anthony

Does dirt become clean
After being washed up, or
Does it remain dirt?
Can water change its nature?
Is there a chance for rebirth?

Winds of Freedom

Will horses run free
On never-ending pastures
Faster than the wind
Gracefully, they roam so wide.
With joyful hearts, they gallop.

Waves of Gold

Harvest wheat dances
As the prairie breezes blow
Creating ripples
Under the golden sun’s glow.
Fields alive, a vibrant show.

The Echoes of Anger

Voice raised in anger
Bad intentions are in mind.
Violence will follow
Feelings will be damaged and
It will be hard to repair

Flickering Hope

Better than the rest
Left out in the heartless cold
Many neglected
Dreams are lost within shadows.
Hope flickers like a small flame.

Where Did Our Rain Go?

Special thanks to my collaborator on this Rengay, Anthony
https://empathmuch.wordpress.com/

Where did our rain go
Winter seasons really slow
Now nothing will grow
The ground is parched, sky is gray.
Each passing hour, the sun shines.

A Call for Compassion

Special thanks to my collaborator on this Rengay, Anthony

Fierce winds fan hot flames
Fires race up and down hillsides
Where is the relief
Devastation for many
Compassion is needed now

Dividing Time with Joy

Special thanks to my collaborator on this Rengay, Anthony
https://empathmuch.wordpress.com/

You count all the words
While I’ll count out all the days
Then divide by two
The answer cannot explain
all the joy & love that we have
