Agitated

Oh be agitated, my restless soul

Tossed and turned, in an endless roll

Like a stormy sea, you cannot find peace

Turbulent emotions, refuse to decrease

The mind races, with worry and fear

Anxiety and stress, always near

Thoughts in chaos, like a tangled thread

Frustration and anger, paint the mind red

Oh be agitated, my troubled heart

Longing for calm, but can’t seem to start

Like a caged bird, you want to break free

But the chains of unease, won’t let you be

The body quivers, with pent-up rage

A constant battle, with an invisible cage

Restless hands, fidget and shake

Yearning for relief, but only ache

Oh be agitated, my restless mind

Always searching, but peace hard to find

The world keeps spinning, in a mad pace

But your mind stays still, in a chaotic space

The storm inside, shows no sign of wane

But deep within, there’s a flicker of flame

A glimmer of hope, amidst the storm

A reminder to breathe, and to be reborn

So let the agitation, run its course

Soon, it’ll lose its chaotic force

For within you, lies strength and light

To find calm, and end the fight.

Precious Waterfall

Bathe me in your falls.
Pure essence cleansing me clean.
Washing away pain.
Purify my very soul.
Easing me to peace and grace…
-AAA 06/20/2024

I have always been fascinated with waterfalls, and because of this, I decided to try my hand at drawing one. I feel that it came out okay for my first attempt. I will definitely give it another shot soon.

Mahatma Gandhi

Who is your favorite historical figure?

I really admire Mahatma Gandhi because he believed in peaceful ways to make big changes. His teachings about truth, fairness, and treating everyone equally still matter a lot today. He was also a strong leader who cared about helping others and treating everyone fairly. Even though he lived a long time ago, his ideas about peace and fairness still inspire people all around the world, including me.

Artwork Outside my Window

This was the first time I drew something totally by hand and did not have a step by step instructions on how to. I created the view that I see outside of my room at my home. I love the way that it turned out.

Daily Prompts, Funny

First Crush

Write about your first crush.

I have had many crushes in my lifetime, and unfortunately, many of them didn’t return the feelings. One crush that stands out in my memory is He-Man. It might seem a bit unusual, especially since he was a cartoon character, but I found something about his strength and muscular physique really appealing. It’s funny to look back on now, but I was pretty taken with the character at the time.

Countries to Visit

What countries do you want to visit?

I’ve always dreamed of visiting Japan to experience its rich history, culture, and of course, the delicious cuisine.

Italy is another destination on my list, as I’d love to immerse myself in the art, architecture, and of course, the authentic Italian food.

Lastly, I’d love to visit New Zealand for its breathtaking natural landscapes and outdoor adventures.

Patience is key

What’s your favorite thing about yourself?

One of my favorite qualities is my patience when working with children to teach them. It’s important to have patience because some kids may try to test me, but witnessing the spark in their eyes when they finally understand something they didn’t grasp before is incredibly rewarding.

Fun Math

Math is cool

Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

Oh, what fun!

—–

Addition is first

One plus one equals two

Look at me!

—-

Next is Subtraction

Watch out can be tricky

Nope not today

Third is multiplication

I get it, repeated addition

Is the way

Lastly its division

Equal shares are needed for all

On a roll

Come and Try

Fun with math is waiting

Just keep trying.

Sonic the Hedgehog

Here are a couple of my drawings on Sonic the hedgehog. I know I have some other drawings of him, but I need to look for them. As a dedicated fan of the Sonic video game series, I have always found inspiration in its vibrant characters and dynamic world. Sonic’s unparalleled speed and adventurous spirit have always resonated. I sought to convey Sonic’s energy and determination in every piece.

Three Things Challenge #M726

CRY
WAIL
SOB

When tears fall, we see the pain,
A wail escapes, like pouring rain.
We sob and ache, our fragile hearts,
Seeking solace as sadness departs.

Oldest Thing

What’s the oldest thing you own that you still use daily?

The one thing that I have that is the oldest and I am still using daily would be my 2005 Chevy Aveo. I have had many great adventures with the car and I am hoping I have a few more as well.
