Your three words today are:
COURAGE
BRAVERY
SPIRIT

In a town where the brave hearts engage,
With courage that breaks every cage,
Their spirit shines bright,
In the darkest of night,
Together they write their own page.

On Courage, Bravery, and Spirit (or the Fine Art of Stubborness)
Courage isnāt charging in, sword raised,
wind catching the hem of your coat like a theatrical flourish.
Bravery isnāt standing tall, unshaken,
when the world leans in with its full weight.
No ā
itās getting up when your knees protest,
when your lungs argue back,
when the kettleās just out of reach and you weigh the odds of making it there
without a detour via the floor.
Spirit isnāt grand speeches,
nor is it the glint in a heroās eye ā
itās the moment you bite your tongue instead of snapping,
when someone offers advice you never asked for,
(“Have you tried yoga?” “Just be positive!”)
and instead of launching them into next week,
you nod and say,
“Aye, Iāll think about it.”
Itās knowing when to fight
and when to save your breath,
when to lean in
and when to lean back,
when to stand your ground
and when to let the fool dig their own hole.
Because real courage is quiet,
real bravery wears scuffed boots,
real spirit is the kind that chuckles, shakes its head,
and carries on anyway.
Or have I misunderstood?
Am I just definingā¦
the fine art of stubborness?
beautifully done! <3
šThank you
