Snow has fallen on the Sahara Desert only four times in recorded weather history: in 1979, 2017, 2018, and 2021.

That’s so interesting! It’s particularly intriguing to notice that all but one of those times were in the 21st century. That being said, I don’t know how far recorded weather history for the Sahara desert dates back.
