My revival of my joys will soon come.
I have to be patient.
Healing takes time.
Though some days feel heavy,
And the road seems long,
I remind myself that growth is happening
Even when it cannot be seen.
Like flowers beneath the soil,
Preparing to bloom in spring,
My spirit is gathering strength,
Quietly, steadily within.
The wounds that once defined me
Will not define me forever.
Each sunrise carries a promise,
Each breath a chance to begin again.
And when my joys return,
They will shine more brightly than before,
For I will know their value,
And welcome them with an open heart.
My revival of my joys will soon come.
Until then, I will keep faith,
Trust the process,
And cherish the hope that leads me home.
