Poetry, Three Things Challenge

In the Morning Light

Your three words today are:
ELEPHANT
EARLY
EARNEST

In the morning light, an elephant strides,
With grace in its steps, where the river glides.
Early to rise, it greets the day bright,
In the soft dawn glow, everything feels right.

Earnest and gentle, it roams the wide land,
A symbol of wisdom, so steady and grand.
Through jungles and savannas, with each grand advance,
The elephant dances, a majestic romance.

Random Thoughts

This week has been very draining for me, and it crushed my creativity. I am feeling a little more energized at the moment, so hopefully, I can create some great posts for you guys.

Poetry

Bright Bird

A bird with feathers so bright,
Sang sweetly from morning till night.
With a flutter and twirl,
It would soar, give a whirl,
And fill lonely hearts with pure light.

Poetry

Girl with a Curl

There once was a girl with a curl,
Who danced with a swish and a twirl.
With the wind in her hair,
She showed off her flair,
And won every heart in the whirl!

Poetry

Shattered Spirit

Wearing weary pants with a tired seam,
Carrying a burden, like a broken dream.
My spirit feels shattered, frayed and worn,
But still, I carry on, though I feel torn.

Poetry

The Quiet Blue Below

In the depths of the ocean, the hue is so blue,
A tranquil reminder of skies that feel new.
Cobalt and azure blend in a view,
Embracing our senses with every soft hue.

Poetry

The Door with a Mind of Its Own- Last Weeks Laughing Along With A limerick!

There once was a stubborn old door,
That squeaked every time to the floor.
It refused to stay shut,
Even swung with a strut,
As if saying, “Come back for more.”

Poetry

Anger into Understanding

Retract harsh words said
Detract not from love’s embrace
Subtract the anger
Replace with understanding
And watch our bond strengthen
