Anger – Artwork

20241010_1130307259862876773892939

I thought this one would be perfect to share today since it is the emotion I am feeling at this time. I love how the fire on his head came out. Back when I was coloring this, I was trying to go for a blended look with the flames, aiming to capture the fluidity and movement within them. I think that it came out really well, as the colors not only bring the flames to life but also mirror the tumultuous feelings inside me, creating a deeper connection to the artwork.

Longing

I have a longing for something undefined,
Each day it grows, in my heart, entwined.
A yearning for something I cannot name,
An elusive desire, like a flickering flame.

It tugs at my soul, a mysterious allure,
A yearning so deep, so pure, and so sure.
I seek it out, though I know not what for,
This unnamed longing, I can’t ignore anymore.

Withdraw

In moments when the world feels too much,
I retreat from everyone’s touch.
No calls, no texts, no words to say,
I seek solitude to find my way.

I withdraw to my quiet space,
Where I can find my peaceful place.
Alone in my room, away from the crowd,
I recharge my soul, and think aloud.

So if I don’t answer, please understand,
I just need time to lend a helping hand.
It’s not about you, it’s about me,
Finding my balance, to once again be free.

Out of Place

In a world where I often feel out of place,
A constant struggle, a never-ending chase.
Surrounded by faces, yet feeling alone,
Yearning for somewhere that feels like home.

Three Things Challenge #M839

CLUMSY
FALL
DIVE

Clive was a clumsy fool
but he didn’t pay it no mind
Day in and day out he would fall and dive
Out of people’s ways
But every time he would say
At least I stuck my landing

Ghost – Artwork

In October 2020, I went on a Halloween draw marathon, where this little diddy came in. I discovered this amazing experience on the YouTube channel Draw So Cute, and I fell in love with its charming tutorials and whimsical characters. The creator’s clear instructions made it easy to follow along, and I was completely absorbed in the process. After carefully following her directions, this is how mine turned out, and I couldn’t have been more thrilled with the final product. I love this one from start to finish; every detail adds to the overall joy it brings me.

Yoshi- Artwork

20241007_0708134514462623373151995

Yoshi is my all-time favorite character, so I had to draw him. When I started, I thought it would be difficult, but it looked really good, much better than I initially anticipated. I spent considerable time perfecting the details, capturing Yoshi’s playful spirit and vibrant colors. The only negative I would have to say about this experience is that I need to work on drawing hands and feet more effectively, as they often pose a challenge in my artwork. However, I do have to say that this is the best I have ever drawn hands and feet, and I’m proud of my progress in that area. So, it is a win-win; not only did I enjoy the creative process, but I also improved my skills along the way.
