What’s something you used to believe as a kid that seems ridiculous now?
As a kid, I was absolutely convinced that if I stepped on a crack, I would literally break my mother’s back. I treated sidewalks like they were lava fields like jumping, tiptoeing, doing Olympic‑level footwork to avoid catastrophe.
Looking back, it’s hilarious how seriously I took it. One wrong step and I thought I’d be responsible for a family medical emergency. 😂
