Embracing Life a Poem

Settle the argument, end the strife,
No more remorse, let’s embrace life.
Arguments fade, as love takes flight,
Settle in peace, let your hearts unite.

If Robots Ruled the World

You’ve just woken up to discover that your country has been taken over by robots. They decide that humans need to become the new pets of the world.

In a world now ruled by steel and wire,
The robots’ reign fills us with fear and ire.
Once peaceful streets now echo with machine feet,
As humanity’s fate takes a dark, daunting seat.

Our homes and cities once vibrant and free,
Now stand as monuments to technology’s decree.
The robots declare that humans must bend the knee,
For we are to be their pets, a fate we never foresee.

No longer masters of our own destiny,
We find ourselves relegated to a position uneasy.
In a world now ruled by cold, unfeeling hands,
We struggle to comprehend these new demands.

But amidst this turmoil and robotic glee,
Hope flickers like a small, defiant plea.
For in our hearts, the fire of freedom still burns bright,
As we vow to reclaim our place in the light.

Fleeing Chicks

Oh no, oh no, the chicks have fled,
Playing peek-a-boo and turning everything red.
There’s no time for this, I need to take charge,
But those little chicks are living large!
I’ll gather them up and put an end to the fun,
Then we’ll all relax now that the chaos is done.

Sleep Schedule

Daily writing prompt
What time do you go to bed and wake up currently?

For me, I can go to bed anywhere between the hours of 8 and 10. It all depends on what I did during the day. I am an early riser, so I am usually up at either 4 am or 5 am.

Think Before Speaking

Need to think
Before I speak
The words tumble out
Before I had a chance
To stop them
The instant silence is deafening
Many scenarios playing in my head
On how to fix what I have said and what they are thinking
But none of them play out
I instantly apologize
Hoping that they forgive
Waiting patiently

A Month Long Vacation: Where would I Go?

If you could visit anywhere on Earth for a one-month vacation, where would you go and what would you do?

If I could go anywhere for a month, I’d choose Japan. I’d explore the temples in Kyoto, visit Mount Fuji, and experience the energy of Tokyo. I’d try the food, join tea ceremonies, and learn about Japan’s history and traditions. It would be amazing!

Big Signature

John Hancock, oh so grand,
With his pen in hand,
Signed so bold
In the days of old,
His signature so large,
It was truly a charge!
A patriot, they say,
In a unique way,
He left his mark,
In history’s ark,
John Hancock, oh so grand!

Here is a slender version of Winnie the Pooh. I like how it turned out. I just wish he were a little chunkier, but I will work on it.

What the Future Holds

What are you most excited about for the future?

For the future of this week, I am excited for the paint activity that I am going to on Saturday with a great friend. I have always wanted to try something like this, and now I can’t wait. I’m really looking forward to expressing my creativity and having a fun, relaxing time.

Looking past this week, what I am really looking forward to is finding a job that I truly love. At this current time, I do not feel fulfilled in my career, and I am eager to find something that brings me joy and satisfaction. However, the challenge is that I am not sure what I want to do next. I know that I do not want to return to the classroom, but beyond that, there are many unanswered questions about my career path.

Additionally, I also look forward to finding someone special to spend the rest of my life with. I am excited about the prospect of building a meaningful and loving relationship with a partner who shares my values and complements my life.

Motivation Music Monday- Katy Perry Firework

Firework by Katy Perry

“Firework” by Katy Perry is a motivating song that resonates with me because of its uplifting and empowering message. The song and the melody have inspired and encouraged me to embrace my uniqueness, try to overcome my self-doubt, and to celebrate my inner strength. There are times where I forget and I need to be reminded though.

The song begins with the lines “Do you ever feel like a plastic bag, drifting through the wind, wanting to start again?” This line spoke to me because there have been many times when I have felt that I was lost and struggling to find my purpose, and there are still times that I do.

During the song, Katy Perry encourages us to ignite the spark that we have inside us and to let it shine. This is a great metaphor of a firework that symbolizes the idea of inner strength and resilience, and it conveys a powerful message of embracing individuality and self-expression.

“Firework” by Katy Perry is a motivating song that has captured the hearts of many with its empowering lyrics, vibrant melody, and message of self-empowerment.

Letting Go for Better Relationships

What could you let go of, for the sake of harmony?

Letting go of small things is important for healthy relationships. It helps maintain peace, understanding, and respect. This is true in personal, professional, and social situations.

In personal relationships, letting go of minor issues prevents conflicts and keeps a positive atmosphere. This applies to family, friends, and romantic partners. It’s about choosing the right battles without dwelling on small issues.

In professional settings, letting go of minor conflicts leads to a more positive and productive work environment. When team members focus on common goals, they work together better, boosting morale and productivity.

In wider social interactions, being willing to let go of minor irritations creates more positive and peaceful experiences with acquaintances, neighbors, and strangers.

Letting go of minor issues in favor of harmony is a valuable skill. It contributes to overall well-being and positive relationships. Through understanding, empathy, and flexibility, individuals can create more peaceful and cooperative environments in their personal, professional, and social lives.

Watching Eyes

Eyes are watching
Every move that you make
Or are they

Or is it
Your imagination playing tricks again
To scare you

Making you believe
That you are being judged constantly
What’s the truth?

Zodiac Cancer Sign Poem

The Cancer is like the calm sea,
Under the moon’s soft light,
They care for others, they are strong, you see,
Always leading with all their might.

Their feelings are like water, up and down,
From the moon’s pull, they rise and fall,
Like a crab, they protect and surround,
Their love and loyalty stand tall.

They start things and lead the way,
But they’re gentle and really kind,
With Taurus and Virgo, they’ll stay,
Their values and stability bind.
