The Colorful Trio
In a forest bright and grand,
Lived an owl, a flamingo, and a pheasant so grand.
With feathers of colors, a sight to behold,
Each one unique, but their hearts made of gold.
The owl was wise, perched high in a tree,
With stories of night and the secrets to see.
The flamingo danced with a graceful delight,
Spinning and twirling, a vibrant sight.
The pheasant, oh my, with a plume so fine,
Chirped joyful tunes, keeping spirits in line.
They’d gather at dusk, as the sun dipped low,
Sharing their tales with a warm, friendly glow.
Though different they seemed in the light of the day,
They laughed and they played in their own special way.
For friendship, you see, knows no bounds, nor disguise,
In the world of the odd, love always replies.
So, here’s to the trio, so quirky and bright,
The owl, flamingo, and pheasant, a delight!
In their colorful world, they teach us to cheer,
That friendship is magic, forever sincere.

In a forest so bright, where the tall trees sway,
Lived Bobby the bear, bouncing joyfully all day.
With a skip in his step and a grin on his face,
He danced through the woods, his favorite place.
Bobby loved to frolic, to jump and to play,
But amidst all his laughter, he was swept away.
He forgot to announce, with a voice full of cheer,
That the meat at the market was cheaper this year.

Round #40 – This or That:
- Calling or texting? The majority of the time I would have to say texting since when I am calling someone, or someone calls me I start to get anxious. There are times when I am texting, I wish it was a phone call since I am struggling to get my point across
- Fancy dinner or takeout and a movie? I am all for take out and a movie. That is a change to relax and enjoy your time with someone instead of dressing up and dealing with other people
- Acknowledgement or anonymity? This is a hard question for me to answer. I want acknowledgment from a few people on but with most I would like anonymity.

Favorite Subject
What was your favorite subject in school?
Okay, this might shock some, but my favorite subject in school was math. I loved its clear-cut nature, where answers were definitive. There was something satisfying about solving problems and knowing I was right or wrong. Math provided a sense of order and logic that I found comforting.
Recently, I’ve begun to appreciate writing more. Initially, I saw it as subjective and ambiguous compared to math. However, as I explored poetry, storytelling, and essays, I discovered the beauty in its complexity. Writing allows for creativity and expression, enabling unique perspectives and emotions.
