Comfort in Choice

In a world where choices often fade,
I’d choose a look that’s never dismayed.
A pair of jeans, well-worn and true,
Soft and cozy, just like the morning dew.

With a t-shirt snug against my skin,
It whispers comfort, where warmth begins.
A stylish jacket, casual grace,
Completes the ensemble, my perfect embrace.

Versatile fabric, for night or day,
In every moment, it finds a way.
With confidence blooming in every seam,
This outfit, my armor, fulfills my dream.

So let the seasons come and go,
In comfort I’ll wander, steady and slow.
For in this attire, I find my ease,
Wrapped in comfort, my soul’s gentle tease.

Echoes in the Feed

In a scroll of posts, I find my day,
Time slips away, like sand in the bay.
Lost in the feeds, I wander and roam,
Mindlessly drifting, far from my home.

With each little update, I glance and I sway,
But now I’m deciding to carve out my way.
I’ll limit the hours, be mindful and clear,
Making room for the moments I hold dear.

First Light

Bright light shines through the window so clearly.
Waking you up from deep sleep
Time to start the day now.

Dolphins Sleep with One Eye Open

Dolphins can sleep with one eye open, allowing them to remain alert to predators while resting.

On Your Own Line

To face social anxiety isn’t a fight,
It’s a journey we take, not a wrong or a right.
Though it may seem daunting, it’s not all despair,
Sometimes anxiety can show us we care.

Feel the flutter, the cautious mind,
In those moments of doubt, strength you’ll find.
Embrace the jitters, let them be near,
For they can guide you, lessen your fear.

You have the power, the choice in your hand,
To keep anxiety in its own gentle land.
So take a deep breath, let your courage shine,
You are not alone; you’re on your own line.

Trust is a Gift

Trust is hard for me to share,
It’s a treasure, precious and rare.
Only a few have earned it right,
A bond that feels just like daylight.

Built on honesty, respect, and truth,
It’s a strong tie, not a sleuth.
If you hold my trust, treat it well,
For it’s a story only we can tell.

Together we can conquer and grow,
In trust, our dreams continue to flow.

Drafted by Moonlight

On a draft, she started to write,
A poem drifting in the night.
Words danced like leaves in the breeze,
Her thoughts took shape with heartfelt ease.

Dancing Among the Stars

There once was a girl named Michelle,
Whose dream was to dance, can you tell?
On the moon she’d moonwalk,
In zero-G she’d gawk,
And in starlight, she’d twirl and excel!

Height Variation

Did you know that when you wake up in the morning, you are about one centimeter taller? This is because your spine decompresses while you sleep, but during the day, gravity compresses it again.

    The Whimsical Wonder

    Your three words today are:
    ITEM
    THING
    NOVELTY

In a shop of wacky dreams,
Where oddities burst at the seams,
An item sat with a silly grin,
A thing that danced, let the fun begin!

A novelty toy, red and blue,
Wiggled and jiggled like it knew,
With a honk and a wiggle, it stole the show,
This playful oddball, the star of the glow!

    Mission of Light

In the quiet of the night,
She set out on her way,
A mission to find the bright,
To chase the dark thoughts away.

With each step, she felt the weight,
    Of shadows trying to bind,
But deep inside, she found her fate,
A sparkle whispered, “You will find.”

Through valleys low and hills so high,
She sought the light that shines,
With hope like stars up in the sky,
She left behind the dark confines.

Her heart began to sing anew,
    As joy replaced the fear,
Each moment felt like morning dew,
    A fresh start drawing near.

So if you wander, lost in night,
    Remember her brave quest,
For within each soul, there’s hidden light,
And in that truth, we’re blessed.

    Max the Crafty Cat

    Your three words today are:
    CRAFTY
    NIPPY
    CHEEKY

In a town where the weather was chilly and nippy,
Lived a cat named Max, oh so crafty and cheeky.
With a flick of his tail, he’d cause such a fuss,
Sneaking treats and toys, oh, he loved to make a mess!

One fine day, he dared Rufus, the dog,
To a race by the shed—oh, what a slog!
Max dashed off so quick, leaving poor Rufus confused,
Crafty and cheeky, he simply refused to lose!

So here’s to dear Max, with his playful little ways,
In a world full of laughter, he brightens our days!
