For my next installment from the movie Inside Out, I drew Sadness. To be honest, out of all the characters, she was the first one I drew. I was drawn to her character from the beginning because she was relatable to what I was going through when the first movie came out.

I have so much jealousy inside
I am jealous of
Of couples holding hands
Their closeness
The way love sparks in their eyes for their significant other.
I long for the laughter,
The whispers shared late at night,
The comfort of a warm embrace,
A love that feels just right.
I watch them walk together,
Two hearts in perfect sync,
While I stand on the sidelines,
Lost in thoughts that make me think.
The simple things they treasure,
A glance, a gentle touch,
I crave that kind of magic,
Oh, how I want it so much.
But deep down, I know,
I must learn to find my peace,
To nurture love within myself,
And let the envy cease.
For every heart has its journey,
And every thread its time,
Perhaps one day I’ll find my own,
A love that feels sublime.

Here is the next in the series of Inside Out characters. Joy was an easy one to draw, with her vibrant colors and expressive features capturing the essence of happiness so perfectly. I love how it came out.

What is your favorite form of physical exercise?
My favorite form of physical exercise is swimming, even though I haven’t been swimming in a while. I love how refreshing it feels and how it engages the entire body. It’s a great way to improve endurance and strength while also having low-impact on the joints. Plus, there’s something incredibly calming about being in the water.
