There’s an orchestra made up entirely of typewriters

“Since 2004, the Boston Typewriter Orchestra has been playing concerts, making and performing music by only using vintage typewriters. The various sounds of clacking, sliding carriages, bells, and spinning rollers contribute to the orchestra’s unique sound, according to Ripley’s Believe It or Not!” 50 Weird Facts That Most People Don’t Know

Under the Moonlight

Beneath the moonlight
Swaying to their own sweet tune.
Love is in the air.
All they see is each other.
Tonight, they’ll have no worries.

Sky Therapy

The crystal clear blue sky is tantalizing

Daring us to go out and enjoy the day away

To see the beautiful scenery around you, hypnotizing

So that your worries float away

let your mind drift and start fantasizing

about a life with no stress and worries

your mind begins to calm down, stablizing

In a peaceful state of mind you stay,

As dreams of joy are truly mesmerizing.

Paws of Joy

Daily writing prompt
Dogs or cats?

In a world of wagging tails,
My heart’s filled with puppy dog trails.
Their love is pure, their spirit bright,
In their eyes, my day turns light.

Poetry, Word of the Day

Together We Rise

There’s no need to be a snob,
In a world where kindness can rob
The darkness of division’s sway,
Together we can light the way.

No one’s better, that much is clear,
When we work, we have no fear.
With open hearts and open hands,
We’ll build a world where friendship stands.

So let us join, both near and far,
And see how bright our spirits are.
In harmony, we shall find our song,
For united is where we all belong.

Whispers of Panic

Whispers surround me, soft and low,
Rising anxiety begins to grow.
A current of fear, a wave of dread,
Overwhelming thoughts fill my head.

In shadows they linger, weaving their tale,
Stirring my heart, making me frail.
A tempest of worry, a storm in my chest,
In silence I struggle, longing for rest.

As whispers encircle, I yearn for the light,
To calm this distress and banish the night.
With hope as my anchor, I seek to find peace,
To quiet the voices, let my worries cease.

Poetry

The Unexpected Lane

Timmy believed he was going to have fun
For he thought he was going for a run
Little did he know that was not the case
For bowling is what he needed to embrace
With strikes and spares, joy had just begun.
