Unique Person

Daily writing prompt
Which aspects do you think makes a person unique?

Everyone is unique in their own way. Here are a few things that make someone special in my opinion:

  1. Personality: Everyone has their own mix of traits, like being cheerful, curious, or thoughtful.
  2. Interests: What they enjoy doing, like hobbies or favorite foods, helps shape who they are.
  3. Experiences: The things they go through in life, like travel, challenges, or fun adventures, add to their uniqueness.
  4. Values: What they believe in and what’s important to them, like kindness or honesty, make each person stand out.
  5. Background: Their family, culture, and where they grew up all play a significant role in who they are.

The Whimsical Dance of the Candlelight

Your three words today are:
CANDLE
FLAME
WAX

A candle stands tall in the pale moonlight,
With a flickering flame that dances so bright.
The wax drips and giggles, like a snail on the floor,
“Join in my puddle, there’s always room for more!”

The flame gives a twirl, in a whimsical show,
Together they sparkle, putting on quite a glow.
So when you see candles, just stop for a glance,
For they love to be silly and to share in the dance!

A Ruckus of Laughter

Your three words today are:
CALAMITY
CHAOS
CHAGRIN

In a land of calamity, things went awry,
With chaos erupting, oh me, oh my!
A cat chased a dog, a kite flew a tree,
And the neighbors all gathered for popcorn and glee.

With chagrin in their hearts, they watched the great show,
As the dog stole the cat’s snack—what a way to go!
Amidst all the laughter, they laughed till they cried,
In a world full of mishaps, at least they had pride!

Your three words today are:
COURAGE
BRAVERY

In a town where the brave hearts engage,
With courage that breaks every cage,
Their spirit shines bright,
In the darkest of night,
Together they write their own page.

A Triangle’s Dance

Your three words today are:
TRIANGLE
CIRCUIT
RANGE

In the realm of shapes, a triangle sways,
With corners sharp, in curious plays.
A circuit of whispers, electric and bright,
Dances through shadows, igniting the night.

In the range of the odd, where logic bends,
Triangles twist, where the ordinary ends.
Circuitous dreams in a geometric trance,
Hold hands with the strange, in a wild, wobbly dance.

The Silent Observer

In the corner, she stood there, feeling shy.
Wanting to join with the others, but was scared
Watching as the time and fun pass her by
Afraid about how she would fare.
Wishing someone would give out a dare
Would never back down from one
She handled all things with great care.
Her heart raced faster than any drum.

Timeless Majesty of the Pyramids

In the desert where history climbs,

The pyramids stand the test of time.

With their stones piled so high,

They reach for the sky,

A marvel of ages, so sublime.

Journey Through Time

Your challenge for the week

  • If he could turn back the hands of time

If he could turn back the hands of time,
He’d visit the moments that felt like a rhyme.
He’d walk through the fields where laughter once played,
And hold on to memories that never did fade.

He’d gather the smiles and the joys of his youth,
Embrace every lesson, find comfort in truth.
He’d find the dear faces he wished he could see,
And relive the moments that meant the most to him.

But deep down he knows, as time rushes past,
Each memory counts, even the ones that don’t last.
For every good day and the tears that he cried,
Make him who he is, with nothing to hide.

So if he could turn back the hands of time,
He’d cherish each second, let love be his guide.
For life is a journey, both simple and grand,
And in the present, he’ll take a strong stand.

Embracing the Light

In a world where thoughts can race,
Sometimes we need a softer space.
A gentle hand, a knowing ear,
To help us through the doubt and fear.

When shadows fall, and skies turn gray,
Take a breath, it’s okay to sway.
Your feelings matter, let them flow,
Like rivers carve the land below.

Each day is new, a fresh start found,
With tiny steps, we stand our ground.
It’s okay to feel both joy and pain,
Like sunshine mixed with gentle rain.

So reach for help, don’t be shy,
You’re not alone, just look up high.
With love and care, we’ll find our way,
Together, brighter comes the day.

A Flicker of Hope

My attempt was a spectacular fail.

Why do I even bother?

Nothing goes right at all.

Sometimes I wonder why I even try.

Is there someone who cares for me?

Just put me above all.

I search for a light, a flicker of hope

Yet still I rise, though weary,

Cling to dreams through the scorn.
