Ripple of Kindness

Wave to people
Who need
Happiness,

A gentle touch,
A smile,
Peace.

Share your light
When shadows
Fall,

A soothing call
Kindness echoes
Always

In moments quiet,
Where silence
Reigns,

A wave of warmth
Can ease
Pains.

Lift your hand,
Let spirits
Rise,

For every wave
Can change
Lives

A Sacred Space of Love

Love is a wonderful thing to have
Someone there for you no matter what
To stick with you through thick and thin

In laughter and in tears, they stay,
A gentle hand to guide the way,
With every step, a shared embrace,
In love, we’ve found our sacred space.

Mischievous Ways of Rich

There once was a fellow named Rich,
Whose ways were a bit of a glitch.
He’d sneak and he’d snitch,
With a mischievous pitch,
In games, he was quite the switch!

The Caesar Salad was invented in Mexico

“You may think the Caesar salad comes from Italy, but it was actually created in Tijuana, Mexico by Italian immigrant and restauranteur Caesar Cardini. On the evening of July 4, 1924, Cardini, the owner of Caesar’s Place, was under pressure to serve an influx of Californians who were looking for a break from Prohibition. On the fly, he whipped up a salad using romaine lettuce and whatever ingredients he had, including garlic-flavored oil, eggs, Parmesan cheese, lemons and Worchester sauce. Word travelled fast and the Caesar salad became a sensation from coast to coast.” – Readers Digest 50 Weird Facts That Most People Don’t Know
