Journey of Dreams

To venture forth where dreams are sown,

Our journey begins at the ancient stone.

Through forests deep and rivers wide,

Together we’ll walk, side by side.

Beneath the stars, our spirits soar,

As whispers of magic guide us to explore.

With every step, new tales unfold,

In the heart of the wild, our courage bold.

Spark of Laughter

Your three words today are:
WITTY
WILFUL
WONDROUS

Walter was witty, a master of jest,
With clever quips that put humor to the test.
His tricks, though playful, often caused strife,
Yet beneath the laughter, they brightened our life.

Wilful in ways, he’d never back down,
With a mischievous grin, he wore his own crown.
Chasing the sunset, he’d frolic and roam,
In a world of his making, he felt right at home.

Wondrous were times when we’d gather around,
With stories and laughter, our joy knew no bounds.
So here’s to the moments both silly and bright,
With Walter as the spark, our hearts took to flight.

A Festive Feast of Flavors

Gleaming sweets adorned with cheer,
Indulging every taste, oh dear!
Nutty spices fill the air,
Golden edges, crisp and rare.
Every bite a festive delight,
Rich and warm, a cozy sight.
Baked with love, a timeless treat,
Reaping joy, so rich and sweet.
Each piece tells a story bold,
A holiday tradition to behold.
Dancing flavors, memories unfold.

Breaking the Cycle

In a restless mind, thoughts start to loop,
Round and round, like a crowded troop.
Heartbeats race, a dance of dread,
Chasing shadows, where calm once led.

Each worry spins, a dizzying flight,
Caught in the cycle, no end in sight.
But a breath can break, the silent shout,
Step by step, we’ll find a way out.

Clumsy Vampire’s Snack

Your three words today are:
BLOOD
SEEP
FLOW

A vampire with blood on his cloak,
Stood by a well, trying to poke.
But he tripped on a steep,
And his snack let out a “eep!”
Now he’s flowing with laughter, not smoke!

Daily Prompts

Embracing Change

Daily writing prompt
What’s one small improvement you can make in your life?

The one small improvement I would make in my life is to be more accepting of change. I believe I am getting better at this, as it’s something I have been working on for years. Even though I have seen progress, I still struggle with it at times. I need to remind myself that I will grow if I accept change, and even though it may be tough at times, I will become a better person for it.

Cookie Bandit

Your three words today are:
ACCUSE
RECLUSE
SIMPER

In a quiet old town lived a recluse,
Whose cookies were stolen—oh, what a ruse!
They accused him with glee, in whispers so sly,
But he simpered and grinned, “Just let me comply!”

With a plate full of treats, they arrived at his door,
He took just one bite, then devoured them more.
Now he’s the sweet legend, with fame in his midst,
The cookie-stealing recluse? No one can resist!

Summer’s Embrace

Muggy outside, I step in a sweat,
My hair’s a frizz, it’s the best look yet!
The sun’s blazing hot, the air’s like a stew,
At least I don’t need a sauna—just step outside, woo!
