Inspiration’s Search of Me

Special thanks to my collaborator on this Rengay, Anthony, mylovexpressionsblog.wordpress.com

Oh, inspiration.
Where did you go, I need you.
Please return soon.
Ideas must come right now.
Or our readers will suffer…

Brainstorming haikus
In my current moments choose
Mind burns in my shoes.
Thoughts like rivers flowing,
Ideas start to take shape.

Edge of stone against
Forming tools and crafting art
Resilient in use
To build your inspiration

Authority over Myself

Daily writing prompt
On what subject(s) are you an authority?

Having control over yourself is really important for growing and becoming a better person. It means being able to make your own decisions, take responsibility for what you do, and stick to your personal goals and values. When you have control over yourself, you have the power to choose your own path, shape your future, and live by your principles.

Self-control also means being in charge of your thoughts, feelings, and actions. It’s about understanding what you’re good at, what you struggle with, and what you want to achieve, so you can make good decisions and take purposeful action. With self-control, you can stay true to who you are and resist pressure to be someone you’re not.

Having control over yourself also means being able to stay focused and keep going, even when things get tough. It’s about managing your impulses, staying on track, and pushing through challenges, even when things are hard. By being in control of yourself, you can work towards your goals and show resilience and strength along the way.

It also means being able to live your life in line with what matters to you. It lets you set realistic goals, focus on what’s important, and stick to your beliefs. With self-control, you can make choices that reflect your true desires, rather than just doing what others expect.

And when it comes to dealing with other people, having control over yourself means understanding your emotions and handling situations well. This helps you make good choices, communicate effectively, and have positive relationships with others. By being in control of yourself in your relationships, you can set boundaries, express your needs, and have healthy, respectful connections with others that celebrate who you are.

In the end, having control over yourself is an ongoing process that involves knowing yourself, being disciplined, and being independent. It lets you move through life with clarity, purpose, and honesty, helping you grow as a person. When you’re in control of yourself, you can live a life that’s true to who you are, make a positive impact on the world, and shape your own future.
