I think mine is going to be a different answer than everyone else. What I enjoy most about writing is that I am slowly gaining my confidence back that I am a good writer. I had many occurrences throughout my younger years when my writing was put down. So, I gained a mindset that I could not write, and I became very self-conscious whenever I did.
I find drawing to be a deeply enjoyable and fulfilling habit. There’s something incredibly satisfying about putting pencil to paper and bringing my imagination to life. Whether it’s sketching scenes from nature or creating abstract designs, drawing allows me to express myself in a unique and beautiful way. It brings me a sense of calm and contentment, and I often find myself lost in the process, completely absorbed in the act of creating something new. Also, when I can I enjoy showing my art to my readers.
I believe that we should strive to create a society where compassion and empathy are the guiding principles in our interactions with one another. This means taking the time to understand and appreciate the experiences and challenges of others, and offering support and kindness whenever possible. By promoting a culture of compassion, we can create a more inclusive and supportive society for everyone.
I usually like to listen to classical music when I need to focus, but other times, I enjoy listening to a variety of genres, depending on my mood. Music can really make a difference in my workday.
My go-to comfort food is cheesecake. There’s something so comforting about the creamy texture and sweet flavor of a perfectly made cheesecake. Whether it’s a classic New York style cheesecake or a creative flavor like strawberry swirl or salted caramel, I always find myself reaching for a slice when I need a bit of indulgence and relaxation.
Lost in a good book, with pages flying by, Transported to new worlds, where time can’t pry, Characters and plots, they capture my mind, Before I realize, it’s way past bedtime!
It’s frustrating when someone initiates a conversation and then abruptly stops, saying “nevermind.” It can feel like they don’t value my input or aren’t willing to share with me. This kind of communication can create a sense of unease, leaving me wondering what they were going to say. I highly value open communication and honesty, so when someone stops sharing abruptly, it feels like a barrier to genuine connection.
You’ve just woken up to discover that your country has been taken over by robots. They decide that humans need to become the new pets of the world.
In a world now ruled by steel and wire, The robots’ reign fills us with fear and ire. Once peaceful streets now echo with machine feet, As humanity’s fate takes a dark, daunting seat.
Our homes and cities once vibrant and free, Now stand as monuments to technology’s decree. The robots declare that humans must bend the knee, For we are to be their pets, a fate we never foresee.
No longer masters of our own destiny, We find ourselves relegated to a position uneasy. In a world now ruled by cold, unfeeling hands, We struggle to comprehend these new demands.
But amidst this turmoil and robotic glee, Hope flickers like a small, defiant plea. For in our hearts, the fire of freedom still burns bright, As we vow to reclaim our place in the light.
For me, I can go to bed anywhere between the hours of 8 and 10. It all depends on what I did during the day. I am an early riser, so I am usually up at either 4 am or 5 am.
