Whispers in Ink: Three Things Challenge #M999

Your three words today are:
SCAB
TEASE
WRITER

In shadows where the whispers tease,
A writer weaves with subtle ease.
With ink-stained hands, a tale to grab,
A heart laid bare beneath the scab.

Each word a wound, each line a sigh,
Through laughter, pain, and dreams awry.
In the dance of prose, the truths we tease,
The writer’s art—a gentle breeze.

The Rusty Dream: Three Things Challenge #M998

Your final three words for this week are:
ROUSE
RUST
REIGN

There once was a tool full of rust,
In a shed that was covered in dust.
It dreamed of the day,
When it’d rouse and play,
As once it had ruled—oh, how it must!

A Cinematic Journey: Three Things Challenge #M994

Your three words today are:
MUD
MOVIE
NAKED

In the depths of mud, stories unfold,
A movie plays out, shadows and light,
Characters emerge, their secrets untold,
In scenes of passion, both wild and bright,
Naked truths revealed, stripped to the core,
Moments that linger, emotions ignite,
The screen flickers on, we crave for more,
Stories intertwine, hearts take flight,
In this cinematic world, dreams take form.

Cross Country Trip

Daily writing prompt
You’re going on a cross-country trip. Airplane, train, bus, car, or bike?

I had to think about this for a bit, but if I had to choose between an airplane, train, bus, car, or bike, I would pick a train. Riding on a train allows me to see the countryside as I travel. In an airplane, you don’t get to see much because you’re just going from one point to another without taking in nature. Buses feel too crowded, and cars can also be quite cramped. As for biking, that’s not really an option for me.

A Productive Day

Today was quite an interesting day. A couple of days ago, I decided to take my grandmother and uncle grocery shopping. I have to say, it wasn’t as bad as it usually is. My uncle wasn’t as aggravating as normal, though he was still a bit annoying. I also had to bring my brother along, which made me feel uneasy because we don’t always see eye to eye on things, but I know my uncle likes him there and my brother can talk to my uncle better than I can.

After grocery shopping, we had lunch at Jack in the Box, where my uncle had a deal, so we took advantage of that. Once I got home, I relaxed on the computer, did some writing, and prepared my post for tomorrow. I also did some artwork again, as well as some personal coloring. Overall, I would say today was very productive.

Whispers Amidst the Storm

Tension heavy in the air,
my mind races, a relentless storm.
Small worries grow, taking shape and form.

Thoughts spiral out of control,
each breath quickens, a frantic drum,
Tension heavy in the air.

The weight of silence feels so loud,
lost in what-ifs that come and go,
my mind races, a relentless storm.

A shadow dances in the corner,
gripping tight, as doubts start to hum,
Small worries grow, taking shape and form.

But somewhere within, a whisper fights,
reminding me to breathe and stay calm,
Tension hangs heavy in the air.

Whispers of the Craft

Hands work through the wood,

Gentle curves take shape with care,

Crafted truth unfolds.

Beauty begins to shine through,

Nature’s whisper guides each turn.

Confident Person

Daily writing prompt
Who is the most confident person you know?

The most confident person I know would have to be my friend Lisa. She just screams confidence from the moment you first meet her.
