The one thing that I know I am truly passionate about is knowledge. I truly believe that learning is a lifelong journey and I am excited to continue expanding my knowledge in all aspects of life. It brings me joy to share and exchange knowledge with others, and I am always open to learning from different perspectives.
Say Hi Day is an annual holiday celebrated on June 11 in memory of Joseph Anthony Cinotti, a special needs teen who passed away at the age of 15. Cinotti consistently made it a practice to warmly greet everyone he encountered, and his positive and cheery disposition endeared him to his local community. I have written a poem to help celebrate
HI
Say Hi Day is a day of cheer A day to spread the love and spread the cheer It’s a day to smile and say hello To friends and strangers, let your kindness show It doesn’t take much, just a simple hello To brighten someone’s day, to make their heart glow A small gesture of kindness, a simple hi Can make a difference, can lift someone high On this day, let’s break the ice Let’s put aside our differences, let’s be nice Say hi to the old man sitting on the street Say hi to the child with the dirty feet Say hi to the neighbor you’ve never met Say hi to the teacher you’ll never forget Say hi to the barista who makes your coffee Say hi to the stranger who looks a little lonely A simple hi can start a conversation It can bring people together, it can create a relation It shows that you care, that you took the time To acknowledge someone, to make them feel fine So on this day, spread the hi’s Spread the joy, the love, and the surprise Say hi to everyone you meet And make Say Hi Day a day that’s sweet.
There once was an elect named Jack Who always seemed to be on the attack But when he was caught For a crime he thought he’d not He was nothing but a suspect in fact He swore up and down he was innocent But the evidence was just too apparent So they had to reject His protests and deflect As he was found guilty in the end His supporters were shocked and dismayed But the truth could no longer be swayed For all his charm and wit He was just a counterfeit And his political career would soon fade So beware of those who seek to elect For they may have secrets they protect Don’t be swayed by their words Look deeper and observe Or you may end up with a suspect to reject.
In the center of the town, There was a funny little clown, With a citrus colored suit, And a smile that was astute. He performed for a massive crowd, Making them laugh oh so loud, With his silly jokes and tricks, He had them all in hysterics. He juggled lemons and limes, Danced around like he had no time, But the funniest part of all, Was when he tripped, making everyone fall. The crowd couldn’t stop laughing, As the clown continued his acting, He made faces and silly sounds, On the stage, he was surely crowned. But as he reached for a citrus fruit, He accidentally dropped it, oh what a hoot, The audience erupted in cheers, As the clown pretended to shed tears. With his orange hair and red nose, He had the crowd on their toes, Never had they laughed so much, Thanks to this clown with a citrus touch. So if you’re feeling down, Just go and find this funny clown, With his bright and zesty flair, He’ll have you laughing without a care.
Oh sweet nectar of the Gods, You bubble and fizz like a symphony, In a world filled with colas, You stand out with your unique taste. With 23 flavors in every sip, You tantalize my taste buds, From the first refreshing gulp, To the last lingering drop. You’re a perfect blend of sweet and spice, A refreshing burst of cherry and vanilla, Your caramel notes dance on my tongue, Leaving me craving for more. You’ve been around for over a century, A timeless classic that never gets old, You’ve survived wars and depressions, A true icon, a legend to behold. From Elvis to Ferris Bueller, You’ve been featured in pop culture, A constant companion in every occasion, A drink that brings people together. Oh Dr. Pepper, you’re more than a soda, You’re a symbol of joy and happiness, A refreshing reminder to enjoy the little things, In a world that’s always in a rush. So here’s to you, my beloved drink, My go-to when I need a pick-me-up, You’ll always hold a special place in my heart, Oh Dr. Pepper, you’re simply the best.
There once was a man with a pot, Who always wore a stylish bowtie and top hat, His loyal and loving pet, Would often get wet, From all the droplets the pot splashed on the cat!
What are the most important things needed to live a good life?
Many people strive to live a good life. The combination of critical elements that contribute to overall well-being and happiness is essential for achieving this aspiration. I believe that living a good life includes mental well-being, strong relationships, personal growth, and fulfilling work.
Mental well-being is not just important, it’s a gateway to a fulfilling life. Prioritizing our mental health allows us to not just guide life’s challenges but to conquer them with resilience and grace, leading us to a life of contentment and balance.
Nurturing strong relationships with supportive friends and family members is another vital aspect of living a good life. Building trust, fostering open communication, and surrounding ourselves with positive influences provide a strong support system contributing to our happiness and well-being.
Personal growth is an ongoing journey that adds depth and meaning to our lives. Setting and working towards goals, continuously learning and seeking self-improvement, and embracing new experiences and challenges are essential for personal development and fulfillment.
Lastly, finding fulfilling work that aligns with our values and interests, maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and feeling a sense of purpose and contribution in our professional lives are not just integral, they are the keys to a satisfying life. They are the fuel that ignites our passion and drives us toward a life of fulfillment.
Silence has always held a special place in my life. It is in those quiet moments that I find solace. I feel that the power of silence lies in its ability to give me the space to recharge and confront the whirlwind of thoughts and emotions swirling within me.
There are numerous benefits to embracing silence. It provides an opportunity to seek inner peace and gain clarity. I find it to be incredibly replenishing and beneficial, especially in a world where noise and distractions are constant. Amid the hustle and bustle of daily life, moments of silence offer a way to recharge and realign.
Embracing silence allows me to reflect, focus, and discover a sense of tranquility amidst the cacophony of modern existence. It’s a time to center myself, gather my thoughts, and find a renewed sense of balance and composure.
The person I spent the most time with is my niece. She is still young enough where is likes to hang out with her Auntie and of course I take advantage of it. Both of us enjoy creating art and that is what we do when we are together.
We often spend our time drawing and coloring. Sometimes we choose a theme for our art, such as animals, nature, or even our favorite cartoon characters. My niece loves using colorful markers and glitter, and I enjoy introducing her to different art techniques and materials. It’s always a fun and positive experience when we get creative together.
If you had to change your name, what would your new name be?
I find this question interesting because I have a distinct inner b*tch that I’ve given the name Victoria. She embodies qualities such as feistiness, stubbornness, and is the opposite what I normally am. Whenever she emerges, it can lead to either an enjoyable or challenging experience, depending on her mood.
