I absolutely love Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups! The combination of creamy peanut butter and rich milk chocolate is just heavenly. Every time I have one, it feels like a little slice of paradise. I can never have just one – they’re just too good!
In the spirt of International Corgi Day. I have decieded to create a limerick to help celebrate them.

There once were some Corgis so fair, With fluffy coats and a playful air, Their legs were quite short, But they’d always cavort, Bringing joy with every wag and stare!
Do you remember your favorite book from childhood?
I remember “The Babysitters Club” by Ann M. Martin as my favorite book from childhood. This series was special to me because it revolved around a group of friends who started a babysitting business together. I loved how each book was filled with fun adventures and valuable life lessons. The characters felt so relatable, and I always looked forward to reading about their escapades.
My favorite character was Mary Anne, and I admired her gentle and caring nature. The stories taught me about friendship, responsibility, and problem-solving in a way that was entertaining and engaging. Overall, it was a series that left a lasting impression on me and one that I fondly remember to this day.
List three books that have had an impact on you. Why?
Eat, Pray, Love had a significant impact on me because it’s a story of self-discovery and finding inner peace. I resonated with the author’s journey of seeking happiness and fulfillment from different cultures and perspectives.
The Help left a lasting impression on me due to its powerful portrayal of racial injustice and the strength of female solidarity. The characters’ resilience and bravery in the face of adversity deeply moved me.
Nineteen Minutes made an impact on me because of its thought-provoking exploration of a school shooting and its aftermath. The way the novel delved into the complexities of human emotions and the consequences of bullying and isolation left me contemplating its themes long after I finished reading.
I struggle with social interactions and the fear of being judged by others. To overcome this, I gradually exposed myself to social situations, focusing on listening and asking questions to alleviate the pressure of being the center of attention. I also worked on building my self-confidence by reminding myself of my strengths and accomplishments. Additionally, I decided to seek professional help to gain more insights and strategies for dealing with social anxiety. There are times to this day that I still struggled with this but I have learned that it is okay.
As for my fear of spiders, I gradually desensitized myself to them by learning more about them and observing them from a distance. This helped me realize that they are not as scary as they seem.
June is my favorite month of the year. The three main reasons are the weather, swimming, and my birthday. I love June’s warm, sunny days, which are perfect for spending time outdoors and enjoying nature. Swimming in a pool or at the beach is another month’s highlight. Lastly, celebrating my birthday in June makes it even more special and memorable.
I love the weather in June. The June gloom, where it’s cloudy and gloomy in the morning and then the sun breaks through, always makes my heart sing. Also, in June, the weather is not as hot as the later months of the summer can be. It’s just the perfect balance for me.
I have consistently recognized it as the start of summer, when I can swim more than any other time. When swimming, I am at peace with myself and let all the stress and worries fade away. It’s when I feel truly relaxed and free, with the water enveloping me and the sun’s warmth on my skin. Swimming allows me to escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life and enjoy the moment, feeling refreshed and rejuvenated afterward.
Lastly, and most importantly, it is my birthday month. I haven’t always had good birthdays, but I am always excited for them, even now that I am older. I dream of doing something I have never done before for this birthday, but we will see. At the moment, I have nothing planned. I want to make this birthday a memorable and special one.
June is a wonderful month for me because it combines enjoyable weather, fun activities, and personal significance. The warm, sunny days make it ideal for outdoor adventures and spending time with loved ones. Additionally, June holds special personal significance for me, making it a month I always look forward to.
How do you know when it’s time to unplug? What do you do to make it happen?
When I feel overwhelmed with work or personal life, I know it’s time to unplug. One of the activities that helps me unwind is drawing while listening to music. Engaging in these two activities simultaneously allows my mind to stop overthinking, providing me with a sense of peace for a while.
Additionally, I find peace in nature. During times when I need to unplug, I’ve taken trips to Joshua Tree, and the experience has been incredibly refreshing. If I can’t make it to Joshua Tree, I visit a local park, find a quiet bench, and simply observe the world around me.
Recognizing the importance of unplugging has been a learning process for me. Since realizing its significance, I’ve made a conscious effort to prioritize this practice in order to prevent feeling overwhelmed.
